What is 2 Ball Alternate Shot?
Both players hit a tee shot and select the best one to play. From there the other player hits for the team for the next shot and the team alternates until the hole is complete.
Example
Adam and Sarah are paired up as a team. They both take a tee shot each and then go and find whose is the best ball to use for the next shot. They decide to use Sarah’s ball. Since it was Sarah’s shot they chose, Adam now takes the second shot and hits the green. Sarah now putts for the next shot and so forth until the hole is complete.
